The House Tonic Story
Soho House is all about creating that home away from home. And through the creation of Soho House classics, members know they can always get what they want – whichever house they visit. By looking at the bestsellers of all the houses, themes and common threads of flavours were found; from there 4 iconic cocktails were born. Our “House Tonics” are found in everyone of our houses.

House Daiquiri
Invented at the end of the 18th Century in the town of Daiquiri, this cocktail has become one those classics that guests always keep asking for. Our house Daiquiri demonstrates the philosophy of our program with its understated fresh ingredients and perfect balance
2 Bar spoons of white sugar
25ml freshly squeezed lime juice
A half shell of used lime
50ml Bacardi Rum
Ice
Mix fresh lime juice with sugar and add the shell of half a lime. Add Bacardi rum and ice, shake and strain into a chilled Martini glass.
Picante de la Casa
The internationally popular margarita with a nod to Tommy’s tequila bar. Infused with heat & spice the Picante de la Casa definitely has some kick. Representing current trends in the drinks industry, where Tequila is certainly on the rise, this has become a popular choice in Miami, New York and London
50ml Reposado Tequila
20ml Agave Nectar
25ml Fresh Lime juice
Chilli
Coriander stem, and 12 hand clapped leaves
Chop the chilli and muddle in a mixing tin, add coriander. Add Tequila, balance with fresh lime & agave nectar, shake hard and serve over rocks. Garnish with a chilli.
Soho House Mule
A classic drink first created in Los Angeles at the famous Cock n’ Bull pub by John Martin, Jack Morgan and an unknown third party. Soho House adapts this cocktail by adding home-made ginger syrup, which with the addition of soda is activated to create a homemade ginger beer.
50 ml 42 Below Vodka
15 ml Fresh lime juice
20ml House-made ginger syrup
Ginger Candy
Ice
Build all the ingredients in a shaking tin and add an ice cube, shake and dump into a Collins glass. Fill with ice, top with Soda and garnish with ginger candy on a stick
Eastern Standard
Based on the classic recipe, the Southside, but with the addition of muddled cucumber this drink provides a refreshing alternative. Although the recipe originated in Soho House West Hollywood, this cocktail was inspired by a drink called the Eastside found on a trip down to Soho House New York
3 Cucumber Slices
3 mint leaves hand clapped
20ml Sugar Syrup
25ml Fresh Lime juice
50ml Vodka
Muddle the cucumber and mint, add vodka and lime. Shake and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a cucumber slice.
